TIME! TIME!! TIME!!! BY SHEKONI AREMUOKIN

Time is a passage of events, activities or happenings. Time is a symbolic nature. It imbibes in us awareness, cautiousness and alertness. As a dove is a symbol of Peace, so is time a symbol of Season. All events in history happen in sequence like Birth and Death.

Time is history, Time is present, and Time is future. Have you ever imagined how the world will evolve without Time? It would be in a state of total disarray and queerness. Our mind will be vague; there wouldn’t be a past, present and a future. Life will be a mundane. How would we know when to eat, sleep, play and work. How would we know days of the week, months and years? You just imagine.

Even God saw the importance of time when he divided the light from darkness <morning and night> at the inception of Creation. Time is running stream which no one can stop, control or bend to his advantage. We can only do our best possible to catch up with Time but if we are not meticulous with time; It will surely catch up on us. Time is irreversible and it waits for no one.

In another development, Time is money! So be very frugal on how you spend it. You are what you repeatedly do. Judiciously use your Time, always profit with it. Every second you get is a blessing you never can tell what will happen the next seconds. If you lose an hour in the morning, you will spend the whole day searching for it. So I say to you CARPE DIEM<seize the day> catch and make use of your Time. Do not procrastinate, do the right thing at the appropriate Time. Seize the day while its still young.

Above all, the essence of time cannot be overemphasized. Take your time and work very hard for the days are rolling by. Once an opportunity is lost, it can only take grace to regain. Although as a child of light in Christ, God will always make a way. Do not waste your golden Time for the days are rolling by.
