Kanye West is not exactly known for flashing smiles anyhow, so when he dooes, it makes the news.

The 38-year-old rapper and dad of two was spotted with a big smile on his face as he arrived for a departing flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Monday. Not only was the cheerful expression on his face a rarity but he was also spotted without his 35-year-old reality star wife Kim Kardashian or their two kids. More pics below..
