If there is any Nigerian artist that has not being winning awards for his songs it is Burna Boy but despite that he never allowed that get to him. He continues to work hard and that has yielded a positive result.

Burna Boy made history as he has won the first ever One Africa Award. He also won in two other categories for his collaboration with South African rapper AKA’s hit song Baddest.

Aside the One Africa Award, the Kigbe Soke crooner won best Hit Single award and Best Collaboration at the event was the 15th edition of the prestigious Metro FM awards held in Durban, South Africa on Saturday, February 27. The award show was attended by musicians, celebrities and even South Africa’s Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula.

Burna Boy has been working non-stop since the release of his sophomore album #OAS (On A Spaceship) November, 2015.
