Three men, all Lagos residents, have been dragged to court for criminal offences.

Theye were dragged to court after they beat up a house wife, Mariam Wahab, their co-tenant, for preventing them from engaging in joint s*x with her younger sister she brought to stay with her.

According to PM Express, Mariam was brutally attacked and had her hand broken. She was thereafter taken to Orthopedic Hospital in Lagos for treatment.

The three tenants, Seun Arowolo, 24, Tolulope Makinde, 27, and Tobi Shobayo, 22 including their landlady, Mrs Kemi Labisi were arrested and charged before a Lagos court for conduct likely to cause breach of peace and assault.

The incident happened at 10, Araromi Street in Itire, Lagos where they reside.

Trouble started after Mariam brought her sister to stay with her and after some time, she noticed that her sister rotatably sleeping with the suspects. She went to the landlady to complain about her discovery and the woman did nothing to caution the suspects.

When she could not bear her sister’s wayward life, she decided to sent her away.

Rather than allow the girl to go, the suspects prevented and offered to accommodate her so she can be pass around by the three suspects with the support of the landlady.

It was gathered that the suspects went ahead to share days they sleep with the girl in turns. This act prompted Mariam to forcefully demanded that her sister should leave the house.

During the fracas, the suspects allegedly conspired and beat Mariam with one of them used a broken bottle to badly stabbed her hand.

The matter was reported to the police and the suspects were arrested and charged to court.

They pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs A.K. Shonubi granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety each in like sum.

They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail.

The matter was adjourned till 6 February 2017.
