Yinka Ayefele loses band boy in fatal accident

On Saturday, March 26, veteran gospel singer Yinka Ayefele loses one of his band boys in a fatal accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. 

According to The News, it was reported that the accident occurred between 9 and 10pm, when a truck conveying some of the musical equipments belonging to Ayefele, ran into a ditch in the high-way. 

The driver, who tried to manage the situation, swerved off the road and crashed the truck which leads to the instant death of one of the band boys.

Aside the death of one of the band boys, others in the truck also suffered various injuries and were all rushed to the University College Hospital, UCH Ibadan, where they are all currently receiving treatments. 

Many years back, the gospel singer was involved in a terrible auto-crash along the Ibadan-Abeokuta road. 

This accident is the reason behind why Yinka Ayefele moves around on a wheel chair till date due to the spinal cord injury he sustained from the accident.
