The Chinese government on Friday rewarded Nigeria’s fighter, Henry Hendrix with BMW motorbike to boost the morale of the Nigerian.

The Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly known as BMW (2015) was the star prize to be won at the International Wushu Kungfu Championship held in Shanghai, China.


Bayerische Motoren Werke who were one of the sponsors for the competition handed it over to the Chinese Government before it was given to the Edo born fighter.

Nigeria’s Henry Hendrix until recent times became the first African to win 3 gold medals at the 2015 Worldwide Wushu Kungfu Taijiquan International Competition held last August after defeating a Chinese champion and a gold medal at the International Wushu Kungfu Championship held in Shanghai, China.

Henry appreciated the Chinese government for the kind gesture bestowed on him adding that the Chinese people have been good to him since he arrived the country.
