Elizabeth Luebke left a house party alone in the early hours of Sunday morning without a coat.

Officials say she was seen on CCTV passing out from the cold at about 4.30am as temperatures reached -21C in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A medical report prepared by Milwaukee County Medical Examiners’ Office indicated Miss Luebke was intoxicated when she left the party.

She wasn't discovered until 9am on Sunday morning by a passerby in the town of Oshkosh.

Miss Luebke had been wearing shorts, fishnet stockings and a light tank top when she left the party.
Her jumper was found near her body, according to Fox News.

Officials said she was "not dressed for the elements".

A friend, who did not want to be named, told Fox:
"When she got here, she was really, really drunk and she got mad at her other friend and she stormed out. She's a really sweet person. I hung out with her at another show when I went to Oshkosh. She's a really nice person - a really sweet person. It's really sad. She's only 21. Such a young age."
Local media reports that Miss Luebke's mother was contacted shortly after her daughter left the party and she drove to try and find her.

Mrs Luebke told police her daughter had a history of binge drinking and she was hospitalised for alcohol poisoning in October last year.

Police warned no one should brave the freezing conditions, especially alone.

Joel Dhein, Glendale Police Department, said: "If you can stay in groups, at least with somebody, and that's just general personal safety."
