A popular clergyman in Meiran area of Lagos state, Prophet Ebenezer Akindele has told Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that God says he must never run for any elective office.
The prophet who pastors the Pillar of Truth Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S), said God revealed to him that heaven plans to install Tinubu in a big position which many politicians that came before him could not attain.
According to Leadership, the prophet said God warned Tinubu to maintain his position as the leader of the party and neglect any gimmick to lure him into vying for any elective office.
He said: “God said that Asiwaju Tinubu should also avoid some traditional titles like Aare Onakaknfo, the Yoruba war generalissimo. The Lord said He is taking Tinubu to a position higher than these posts.”
Prophet Akindele stated further that Tinubu should also avoid vying for president of Nigeria, party chairman or even the chairman of APC Board of Trustees, adding that the former Lagos state governor should earnestly seek God’s wisdom in prayer to be successful and fulfilled beyond human understanding.
“God wants Tinubu to be closer to Him and His prophets. Day and night Tinubu must seek Good in prayer. God said He has prepared a comfortable seat for him in high places.
“God said Tinubu should be praying for sound health and long life. If he can do this God said He is ready to perform more political wonders through him as a politician and community leader,” the prophet warned.
Tinubu recently raised alarm over an alleged plot by some members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to spread smear campaigns against him in a bid to destroy his relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a release by his media aide, Sunday Dare, on Tuesday, January 26, Tinubu alleged that the smear campaign was being sponsored by some scared members of the PDP undergoing investigations of corruption by the administration.
He said the distorted media accounts written against him was meant to disrupt the progress being made against corruption and to destabilise the APC.
