Former beauty queen and Nigeria's most popular transgender, Miss Sahhara Henson, shared some reflective photos to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility which happens to be today March 31.


Ms Sahhara says she wishes for a day where transgender people will be recognized by various governments.

“Today is Trans Day of Visibility: I dream of when we are included and recognised in progressive policies by our various governments.

When we are given opportunities such as dignity of life, respect, jobs and education without prejudice.
I dream of when we dont have to fear discrimination, murder, being called names, misgendered, and rejection by family/society. ‘I AM TRANS & I HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIFE”
