Long before now, there has been series of insinuations concerning the collapse of the union between pretty Mide Funmi-Martins and tribal marked-designed face husband, Afeez Owo.
The genesis of the hullabaloo started when they appeared separately at a movie premier and sat poles apart from each other and the most recent is when the beautiful actress failed to felicitate with her actor hubby on his birthday last week.
As of now, fact seems to be emerging that the union between the two is heading down-hill The actress recently accused her husband of abandoning her and her kids and this made her become emotionally ill leading to her been hospitalized.
She went as far as writing several posts on photo sharing social networking site Instagram calling him out for moving into a new apartment and not releasing money for the upkeep of their kids. She however took the post down perhaps as a result of new facts that have now surfaced suggesting that there is more to the story.
According to close sources, the actress allegedly slept with her husband’s bestfriend in south africa to get a major endorsement deal and it was the reason the husband left her. The man who slept with her confided in a friend who in turn informed her husband. This is apart from several alleged stories of infidelity on Mide’s part during the marriage. Another issue that was raised is that Mide Martins’ libido is very high and that their house girl caught her with a man who used to live with the couple sometimes last year. Though she denied it, her last trip to South Africa reportedly exposed her numerous ‘sexapades’. Another source said that Mide Martins who reportedly went as far as doing love portion to woo her husband, faked an heart attack episode yesterday and told one of her friends to call her husband to meet her at the hospital but the man never showed up. Mide has been discharged from the hospital.
