The Rolling Stones have ordered presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to stop playing their songs during his rallies.
The British rock icons became angered after learning the billionaire was using their music as part of a soundtrack to his appearances.
In a statement, the band said: "The Rolling Stones have never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately.”
The Stones' 1969 classic "You Can't Always Get What You Want" was a popular song for Trump’s events, and during an event on Tuesday night, the campaign played "Start Me Up".
The property mogul is a well known music fan using songs including some by Sir Elton John to greet his arrival on stage.
Adele and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler have previously asked him to stop playing their music to fire up crowds.
