man that killed his mum, dad & 2 sisters in Yobe
28 year old man, Adamu Mai Bisco on Monday night hacked his parents and two sisters to death in Potiskum town of Yobe state.


The Police Public Relation Officer in Yobe State ASP Toyin Gbadegesin explained the four victims were murdered in their sleep with a shovel without being provoked.

The police also attributed the action of the suspect of being under the influence of hard drugs.

Another version of the story holds that, the parents threatened to report the suspect to security agents for allegedly being a member of Boko Haram hence his action against them

“I gathered that the parents said they will report him to security as a Boko Haram. He did not take that threat lightly and so decided to killed them while they were all  asleep,” a source informed The Nation

In his text message sent to their correspondent, the Yobe PPRO said the offence was commited under section 221 of the penal code law.

“Culpable homicide contrary to penal code law section221.offence committed by Adamu Mai Bisco, 28yrs old of Bataiya area of Potiskum, yobe state.

“Apparently under the influence of Hard drugs of  Marijuana, and Tramol capsules, the suspect without any provocation as the victims were fast asleep pickup up a shovel attacked and killed his father, mother and 2 sisters.The incident took place at about 1.00am.
“Upon the receipt of a distress call, police moved in and arrested the suspect, recovered the exhibit and the suspect is still being interrogated.

“Interim investigation reports revealed that the suspect is a drug addict as he confessed to have consumed illicit drugs.
“The bodies of the victims were evacuated to the hospital for medical examination.Suspect to be charged to court,” the text read.
