Five suspects have been arrested by policemen investigating the abduction of a 33-year-old Ecobank worker, Bukola Olowookere.

Speaking on the abduction, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, said that the police had recovered the victim’s handbag and phone.

Olowookere, working at the branch of Ecobank at Bourdillon, Ikoyi, Lagos, went missing since May 5.The husband of the victim, identified as Adewale, said Olowookere called on the fateful day she went missing, that she was on her way home.

Adewale said his wife called around 7pm as she stepped out of her office. According to him, that was the last time he heard from her. It was gathered that nobody had made contact with the family to demand ransom.

TheNewtelegrahonline reports Owoseni said:

“We’re not sleeping over the disappearance of Bukola. We have key suspects. We are not there yet, but we would soon get there. We won’t rest until we find Bukola.
