Distance Learning Institute (DLI) students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Wednesday expressed sadness over the death of Seun Ogunjide, a Business Administration graduate who died in a tragic crash.


Seun was among the fifteen people who met their untimely death in a multiple auto accidents along Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Sunday, June 19.


His friends and colleagues did not get to know he was among the dead until Tuesday.

While in school, he was elected spokesperson for UNILAG DLI. He was popularly called “Sean P” or “SP” for short. He graduated from UNILAG’s Distance Learning Institute (DLI) in 2015. According to his friends, he was highly talented, hardworking and kind.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of a friend, fellow exco, colleague and a brother Ogunjide Seun Paul.

Our deepest sympathies go out to your family. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul that has departed shall rest peacefully in heaven. 

He will be truly missed and we will always pray for him.

Though we feel deeply saddened that “SP” is gone, we are consoled by the fact that he will make heaven by God’s grace.

Goodnight “Seun Paul!” We will always love you.

We will sincerely miss you. We believe you are already resting in the sanctuary of the Lord.

See you then at the sound of the Heavenly Trumpets. Success P, your suffering is over, rest in eternal peace!
