Lagos State Football Association has endorsed Lateef Kayode Jakande Football Competition involving the estates built under the leadership of the first civilian Governor of Lagos state. The kick off started today 1st of October 2017 between Defending Champion OkeAfa Isolo Estate VS Iponri Alaka Estate by 2.30pm at Jakande Estate okeAfa Playing Ground,Ejigbo LCDA,Lagos.

The football competition is named after the political icon in appreciation of his contributions towards the development of Lagos State, especially in terms if providing affordable housing for people.

The Championship which will feature 19 estates teams representing all the estates is supported by Lagos building investment company PLC(LBIC), and  is aimed at creating a cordial relationship among the residents across the state and contributing towards the youth empowerment initiative of Lagos state government.

The matches are slated for weekends to give hardworking Lagosians an opportunity to be part of the annual event.

Among Dignitaries expected at the Opening is His Excellency Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, His Excellency Alhaji Lateef Jakande, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu among other notable dignitaries.

We by this communication invite the general public, especially football lovers and enthusiast to join the championship from 1st of Oct through the 19th of Nov. 2017(8weekends).
