A historical photo of the late founder of Celestial, Papa Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa and the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has surfaced online. The clergyman, Oshoffa was enjoying a meal with his town boy, OBJ on the dining table
Oshoffa was the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, he performed so many miracles during his time, resurrected people from the dead, made blinds to see, healed the sick, healed insanity to mention a few.
He was so divinely gifted and blessed during his time to the extent that there was nothing practically impossible for him to do. He founded the church in 1947 after being lost for three months in the wilderness just like Jesus Christ in the wilderness, he was been attended to by animals in the forest near Porto-Novo in Benin.
The church now has its main offices in the Republique Du Bénin and Ketu-Lagos Nigeria.
He passed away in 1985.
