The collapse of a mud building in Oke-Ijeun area of Abeokua, Ogun state has led to the death of a pregnant woman and her daughter The 3 months old pregnant woman identified as Kafayat Somoye was reportedly taking her children Ganiyat and Ganiyu to school when the wall of the building collapsed on them as they were passing by.
The building which is said collapsed due to heavy downpour that weakened the walls trapped the woman and one of her daughters Ganiyat but Ganiyu luckily escaped.
The pregnant woman was saved from the building but died on the way to the General hospital.
