Igando stands still as police officer allegedly beats bus driver to death

A police officer has allegedly beaten a bus driver to death in Igando. The scene is still on as I type this. According to the LL reader who sent in the photos, the incident happened opposite Igando BRT Park. According to him, the officer asked the bus driver for bribe which he refused. He then jumped into his bus, dragged him down and started beating him. As the man was defending himself, the officer kept on beating him and he landed in a nearby gutter. By the time onlookers will rescue the man and bring him out of the gutter, he was already dead and gone. Sensing what has happened, the officer and his colleagues took to their heels. Angry road users then blocked both sides of the road, causing heavy traffic. According to the sender, the angry road users said, they had to do that to alert the government of what has just happened. And by so doing, the standstill traffic will make news and get their attention.
