Temperatures in Jos, popularly called J-town, the capital city of Plateau state can drop to as low as 10° because of its location which is at staggering elevation of about 1,238 metres or 4,062 feet high above sea level. This explains why ice, rather than rain regularly falls in the area, like it did today.
Folks of J-town woke up this morning to see that ice rain, or hailstones, fell in bucketfuls throughout the night. Really cool stuff. Pun intended. Lol
