25-year-old Okiemute Ighorodje, was on Sunday, September 25, crowned the winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 9 as she smiled home with a grand price of N5 million, a brand new SUV, and a multi-million music recording contract.

The Linguistics & Communications graduate from University of Port Harcourt, who emerged winner after the 8-week highly competitive contest that saw good performances by many of the contestants, performed Phyno‘s hit song “Fada Fada” during the closing gala before she was crowned.
  
The first runner up was Elizabeth, who performed Tiwa Savage‘s “Standing Ovation”. She got N3million and a saloon car.

The second runner up was Kitay, who performed Kiss Daniels‘ “Mama”. He got N2million and a saloon car.
 
Pere who sang Sam Smith‘s “Writing on the Wall” came fourth and went home with N2million.
  
The fifth position went to Dapo, who sang Labrinth‘s “Jealous”. He went home with N1million.

Winner sang Adele‘s “Hello”. She came sixth and went home with N500,000.

There were performances by YBNL singer Adekunle Gold, and dance instructor, Loveth.
