Former coach, Christian Chukwu has told Nigerian coach and player how to beat Iceland in their second group game on Friday.

Chukwu has advised Gernot Rohr’s men to attack and be more forceful’ in order to overcome Iceland.

Gernot Rohr’s side are hoping to redeem themselves against Heimir Hallgrimsson’s men at the Volgograd Arena after falling 2-0 defeat to Croatia in their opening game at Kaliningrad.

The Super Eagles have only failed to make it to the second round of the quadrennial tournament in 2002 and 2010 editions.

“The boys must come out to put more efforts especially in the attack,” Chukwu told Goal.

“The Super Eagles attack should be more forceful so that we can cross over Iceland.

“And I think Nigeria can still qualify from the group but everything is still possible until after our second game.”
