A tragic road accident in Imiringi axis along the Yenagoa-Ogbia Road in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has claimed the life of a middle-aged man was, yesterday, August 31.

According to Vanguard, the deceased was driving a red Toyota Camry salon car with number plates FKJ 821 DJ, when the car skidded off the road into a swamp along the road killing him instantly. 

Revealing the shocking incident, an eyewitness said the driver was on speed when the accident occurred yesterday morning, adding that it was difficult to rescue the victim. 

It took the intervention of some soldiers attached to the Kolo-Creek Flow Station, who mobilised the natives to hire a pay loader with which the car and the corpse were retrieved.
